'Bid to sabotage China-Pakistan bonding will never succeed', says Chinese Foreign Office - UTV Pakistan

Following a tragic attack on Chinese engineers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province yesterday, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian emphasized on Wednesday that any efforts to disrupt China-Pakistan cooperation would be futile.

Beijing remains steadfast in its commitment to collaborating with Islamabad across various sectors. Jian made these remarks during a routine press conference in the aftermath of a terrorist assault in Shangla district that specifically targeted a vehicle, resulting in the tragic deaths of five Chinese nationals and a Pakistani driver on Tuesday.

The official stressed that China and Pakistan are resolute and capable of holding the perpetrators of this heinous act accountable. The bond between our two nations is that of strong strategic partners, deeply rooted in the friendship of our people.

We unequivocally denounce this act of terrorism and extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. Jian reiterated our previous stance on the incident in Shangla, where a suicide bomber attacked the victims’ vehicle.
