On Sunday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the enduring partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, regardless of the circumstances. He took to social media to share details of his meeting with Saudi Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who was the distinguished guest at the Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad.

Shehbaz expressed his delight at the opportunity to meet the Saudi dignitary and extended warm regards to the Saudi king and crown prince. Additionally, the prime minister commended the Saudi defence minister on receiving Pakistan’s highest civil award, the Nishan-i-Pakistan, in recognition of his significant contributions to strengthening the fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

In a separate post on social media, the Saudi minister highlighted the discussions held during his meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. They explored ways to further enhance the robust relations between the two nations, as well as exchanged views on recent regional and international developments and collaborative efforts towards promoting peace.
