LHC disposes of PTI founder’s petition for security in jail

Two women granted bail in motorway episode

The Lahore High Court (LHC) recently addressed a petition regarding the security of the PTI founder in jail, which was ultimately withdrawn by the petitioner.

The decision to withdraw the petition was made after the PTI lawyer noted that a similar petition had already been filed by the PTI founder’s wife. Originally, the petition was filed to ensure that adequate security measures were in place for the PTI founder while in jail.

During the court proceedings, Punjab Advocate General Khalid Ishaq provided detailed information about the security protocols that were being implemented for the petitioner’s client in prison.

The petition was presented before LHC Chief Justice Malik Shehzad Ahmed Khan by PTI Lawyers Forum President Afzal Azeem. Ultimately, the court dismissed the petition following the withdrawal by the lawyer.
