Simultaneously, protests have erupted in Israel, with demonstrators demanding the release of hostages held in Gaza and criticizing the government’s handling of the conflict.

France’s foreign minister was also present in Cairo for talks with Egyptian and Jordanian officials, advocating for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages.

France intends to present a resolution at the UN Security Council outlining a political settlement for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Despite previous resolutions and court orders, the situation in Gaza remains unchanged on the ground, with Israel’s military actions resulting in a high number of casualties, including many women and children.
