Khursheed Shah encourages govt to address wheat crisis

SUKKUR: Syed Khursheed Shah, a central leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party, has called on the governments of Sindh and Punjab to deal with the wheat crisis.

During a media briefing in Sukkur, Shah emphasized the importance of buying wheat directly from farmers and ensuring they are fairly compensated.

He also urged the government to assist farmers who have suffered losses.

Regarding the Faizabad Dharna Commission, Shah refrained from making any comments until the Supreme Court delivers its verdict.

When asked about the PPP’s potential involvement in the federal government, Shah mentioned that the party would decide collectively. He also pointed out the need for parliamentary approval if the Supreme Court mandates changes to current laws.
