The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has scheduled a hearing for Tuesday to address a plea filed by newly elected members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.

The request was submitted by Jameela Paracha, Afshan Hussain, Shazia Jadon, and other new assembly members. They are asking the ECP to order the oath-taking of the new assembly members.

If the oath-taking does not happen, they are requesting that the upcoming Senate elections in the province be postponed.
