Hearing adjourned in a case against Ali Amin Gandapur until May 17 - UTV Pakistan

Islamabad’s district and session court has postponed the hearing of the case against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM Ali Amin Gandapur until May 17.

The case, which involves the alleged recovery of weapons and alcohol, was presided over by Judicial Magistrate Sohaib Bilal Ranjha and was registered at Bhara Kahu police station.

Ali Amin’s lawyer, Raja Zahoorul Hassan, appeared in court for the hearing. However, the questionnaire for the accused under Section 342 was not provided during today’s proceedings.

The court mentioned that the questionnaire would be given in the next two to three days and adjourned the hearing until May 17.

The day before, the court had finished cross-examining all witnesses in the case related to the recovery of weapons and alcohol from Bani Gala in October 2016.

Ali Amin Gandapur argued that the items confiscated by the police were actually bottles of honey.
