Gandapur says constitution is being violated repeatedly - UTV Pakistan

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur declared on Tuesday that the Constitution of the country is being flagrantly violated.

Gandapur firmly stated that they will not back down and will not tolerate lawmakers on reserved seats taking oath illegally. He highlighted the violation of the Constitution by failing to hold elections in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa within the mandated 90 days.

Gandapur also raised concerns about PTI’s election symbol and seats being unjustly taken away, expressing his belief that the current system is on the brink of collapse.

He underscored that the breach of Article 6 of the Constitution carries severe consequences. Gandapur vehemently opposed the postponement of Senate elections in KP and vowed to vigorously defend their rights.

He emphasized the critical importance of upholding the rights of women and minorities, ensuring the protection of women’s rights, and safeguarding the integrity of the electoral process.

Gandapur questioned the lack of a full court to address the concerns raised by six judges and the absence of a judicial commission to investigate the events of May 9.
