The television footage displayed a multitude of fire trucks rushing to the scene, with thick smoke and fierce flames billowing from the aircraft. Additionally, Reuters reported that one of the five Japanese Coast Guard members on board the coast guard aircraft managed to escape, while the whereabouts of the others remain unknown at this time.
