In Lahore, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has approved a groundbreaking initiative to improve the well-being of students in the province.

Through this new project, around 0.7 million students in Punjab will receive glasses and hearing aids.

The project involves a thorough screening process to identify students with vision and hearing problems in both government and private schools in Punjab.

Students with poor eyesight or hearing will be provided with the necessary support in the form of glasses and hearing aids.

During a recent meeting with a delegation, Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz discussed various educational initiatives, such as providing internet services in schools and addressing the nutritional needs of students.

The meeting also focused on improving the capacity of school teachers through inter-departmental collaboration.

CM Maryam Nawaz also announced plans to establish the first government schools for autistic children in Lahore, showing her dedication to inclusive education.

She emphasized every child’s right to receive high-quality education that meets international standards.

Maryam Nawaz highlighted the importance of bringing new perspectives to drive positive change and development in public service.

Additionally, CM Maryam Nawaz shared plans to introduce packaged milk with contributions from the private sector and activate free emergency Wi-Fi services in Lahore to improve access to educational resources.
