Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi expressed that Pakistan and Iran are eager to collaborate in order to achieve great success in modern knowledge and skills.

He made these comments during his visit to Government College University in Lahore on the second day of his trip to Pakistan, where he was welcomed by Vice Chancellor Dr. Shazia Bashir.

Raisi mentioned that the trade relations between the two neighboring countries will be strengthened due to their deep historical, cultural, religious, and civilizational connections.

He emphasized the importance of focusing on science and technology, stating that investing in education is crucial for positive outcomes.

Raisi also praised the renowned poet Allama Iqbal, noting that his works are highly respected in Iran. Regarding the situation in Gaza, he highlighted the significance of resolving the issue not only for the Muslim community but for the entire world, as thousands of Palestinians have lost their lives in Gaza.
