Punjab Assembly summons pre-budget session on Monday
The Punjab government has decided to hold the pre-budget session of the Punjab Assembly, which is set to start on Monday.
The Ministry of Law has sent the summary for the pre-budget session to the Governor of Punjab for approval.
The main focus of the pre-budget session will be to discuss suggestions and recommendations for the budget of the fiscal year 2024-25. Both treasury and opposition members will take part in discussions about budget proposals and allocations.
Members of the Provincial Assembly (MPAs) are expected to share input and suggestions related to the needs and development priorities of their constituencies during the session. The Governor of Punjab will officially announce the pre-budget session, and preparations for it have already begun.
