CM Murad slams PTI's economic mismanagement

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah held a press conference on Sunday to discuss various development projects being carried out by his government in the province, in line with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s commitment to fulfill promises made during the election campaign.

After a meeting with elected representatives from four districts in Hyderabad division, including Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, and Tando Muhammad Khan, the chief minister mentioned that a consultative meeting was being held to implement development projects based on the suggestions of elected representatives.

CM Murad Shah expressed that the people of Sindh have high expectations from the PPP.

He emphasized that the provincial government is focused on fully rehabilitating those affected by the 2022 floods, with 2.1 million houses under construction and funds already secured for the project.

The CM also mentioned plans to provide free electricity to marginalized groups and improve primary healthcare services over the next five years. Additionally, efforts are being made to support private hospitals and ensure no schools are closed due to teacher shortages.

The government is actively working on establishing special economic zones, resolving water supply issues in Hyderabad, and maintaining law and order by cracking down on drug trafficking.

Furthermore, the government will soon introduce the Labour Card, building on the success of the Benazir Labour Card initiative. During the meeting, CM Murad Ali Shah highlighted the numerous development schemes underway in Hyderabad, Matiari, and Tando Allahyar, emphasizing the government’s commitment to addressing the concerns of the people promptly.
