In Lahore, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, the recently elected leader of Jamaat-e-Islami, officially assumed his new role on Thursday.

During the ceremony, Emir Naeemur Rehman spoke about the 76-year history of the organization, highlighting its dedication to promoting peace and combating oppression and corruption.

Naeem emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami does not intend to seize power through deceitful tactics, but rather seeks to bring about change with the support of the people.

Emir Naeemur Rehman also commended former JI chief Sirajul Haq for his leadership, likening him to a paternal figure who has provided guidance to all.

Expressing confidence in Jamaat-e-Islami’s capability to lead the nation, he reaffirmed their commitment to implementing their policies.

The new JI leader criticized the current coalition government formed through Form 47, contending that they lack legitimacy as Pakistan’s leaders.

He announced plans to launch a significant movement against those who have unlawfully seized power through Form 47.
