The Punjab Assembly session has been called by the opposition, with Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan scheduling the session for Monday, April 1 at 11 a.m.

A notification has already been issued by the speaker. The agenda items issued by the assembly secretariat include discussions on the political situation, inflation, and law and order.

The previous session was adjourned indefinitely on Saturday after the approval of the supplementary budget.

The opposition benches have requisitioned a new session to address pressing issues facing the province.
