CM Maryam approves funds for uplift projects

CM Maryam instructs ACs to redress public grievances

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has allocated funds for the addition of 630 more buses to the public transportation system in urban areas.

A Cabinet Standing Committee of Finance and Development meeting was held, chaired by the Punjab chief minister, with ministers and secretaries in attendance.

The CM was updated on various development projects, including the approval of 150 motorbikes for lady police officers and funds for upgrading Government Pilot Boys High School on Wahdat Road.

Additionally, the meeting approved the purchase of 630 public buses for cities like Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, and Bahawalpur.

Special allowances were also approved for Anti-Terrorism Department under-officers and for establishing a Water and Sanitation Service Company in Sahiwal.

Funds were allocated for Syed Muhammad Hussnain TB Hospital Samli to operate as a general hospital. The CM was also briefed on the establishment of field hospitals in various locations in Murree.
