Islamabad: The recently elected PPP Senate Chairman, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, held a meeting with party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at Zardari House.

During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto congratulated Yousuf Raza Gilani on his new role as Senate chairman and expressed his full confidence in him.

Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani visited Zardari House to meet with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, where he expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him.

He was elected unopposed as Senate chairman, with PML-N’s Syedaal Khan Nasar elected as deputy chairman on Tuesday. The oath of office was administered by Presiding Officer Ishaq Dar.

In his inaugural address, Gilani extended Eid greetings to all esteemed senators and thanked the allies, including the PML-N and the PML-Q, for their support. He assured everyone that he would strive to meet their expectations and work diligently to fulfill his responsibilities.
