PTI founder willing to conditionally come to negotiations table - UTV Pakistan

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has formally requested the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to consider extending the polling time by one hour. In an effort to ensure a fair and inclusive electoral process, the PTI is urging the ECP to extend the polling time until 6 pm.

Umar Ayub, the esteemed chief organizer of the PTI, expressed his admiration for the dedicated voters who overcame various obstacles, such as internet shutdowns and suspension of mobile phone services, to exercise their democratic right at the polling stations.

Recognizing the importance of accommodating these committed citizens, Ayub has instructed the party’s diligent polling agents to promptly submit an application to the ECP, formally requesting an extension in the polling time. It is worth noting that the voting commenced at 8 am and concluded at 5 pm, adhering to the previously established schedule.
