The Lahore High Court (LHC) has scheduled a hearing for PTI President Parvez Elahi’s bail petition in an illegal recruitments case on May 2.

Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry of the Lahore High Court will be presiding over the bail plea of former Punjab chief minister Parvez Elahi on that date.

Elahi, the petitioner, argues that the anti-corruption court dismissed his post-arrest bail without considering all the facts and figures of the case.

He is requesting the court to approve his bail in the Punjab Assembly recruitment case. It is important to mention that on March 27, an anti-corruption court had denied the bail application of former chief minister Parvez Elahi.
