Information Minister Attaullah Tarar strongly condemned the killing of a senior worker of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) during the by-polls in Narowal on Sunday.

The deceased, Muhammad Yousaf, was identified in a statement released by the minister, who also offered condolences to the family.

Tarar prayed for Yousaf’s soul to rest in peace and for the family to find strength in this difficult time. He promised that Yousaf’s death would not be in vain and vowed to bring the killers to justice.

The minister expressed regret that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had used violence and killing to try to win the by-elections through rigging.
