NAB should probe wheat crisis in Punjab: Asad Qaiser
LAHORE: Asad Qaiser, a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former National Assembly speaker, expressed concern about the dire situation of farmers in Punjab, attributing it to the failure of the provincial government.
During a media interaction in Lahore, the senior PTI leader called for the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to investigate the ongoing wheat crisis in Punjab.
Qaiser criticized the state of affairs in Punjab, stating that it has turned into a police state. He highlighted the importance of the Feb 8 elections won by PTI nationwide, including Lahore, emphasizing that the integrity of the voting process is crucial.
The senior politician urged for the immediate release of detained PTI workers and leaders.
