Maryam pledges to protect Christian community and their rights

CM lays foundation for Nawaz Sharif IT City in Lahore

During an Easter ceremony in Sheikhupura, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz made a heartfelt promise to protect Christian religious sites and uphold minority rights.

She spoke passionately about her experience attending a Christian school, where she credited her Christian teachers for shaping her character and contributing to her success.

Maryam emphasized the values of discipline and cleanliness instilled in her by the school, highlighting the importance of these virtues in her life.

In her speech, Maryam underscored the unity of humanity under the divine, drawing inspiration from the Quran. She also shared her father, Nawaz Sharif’s, commitment to minority rights and extended warm greetings to the Christian community on Easter.

Maryam praised the invaluable contributions of individuals like Justice Cornelius and Cecil Chaudhry from the Christian community.
